Although referred to as a Lime it is accepted that the Rangpur has a rough lemon in its family line somewhere. They have a lot of vigour and when established will produce well. They will tolerate dry periods a little better than most citrus and they are tolerant of many soil types. It’s a hardy and sturdy citrus tree that can be grown in a pot or in the garden.
As a general rule our trees should fruit in the second autumn after you have planted them, given they receive good nurture and optimal conditions.
